The members of the Cultural Association of Longera and artists of Trieste organize, for fifth consecutive time, the scholarship “Arteden/Artweek” directed to resident European artists in zones of ethnic minority and/or linguistic in Europe.
The motivation of this scholarship is to stimulate and to animate to a change in the field of the art offering to the participant artists the opportunity to have an suitable space to express its creativity and its artistic point of view.
The scholarship reunites artists of different parts from Europe, which distribute the spaces of the Cultural Center to dedicate themselves to the artistic creation. So that it is possible to be worked in solitaire or sharing space with the rest of the artists, according to preferences.
The Spanish artists have the opportunity to participate in this scholarship sending their project to Patricia Muñoz, who is the one in charge to make the preselection of five artists, of which the definitive selection of the granted a scholarship artist will be made in Trieste.
Patricia Muñoz, cultural plastic and managing artist, was one of the scholars in the previous edition.

Duration of the scholarship: from the 9 to the 15 of Julio. Exhibition the 14 of Julio
Directed a: All the Spanish Artists born or resident in zones where there is a ethnic minority or linguistic. Bilingual people (Spanish and another language or dialect).
Without age limit.
Requirements: To speak English, Italian or Slovenian.
Artistic disciplines: Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Video, Installation, Performance… (for other disciplines, to consult via email)
Benefits
Lodging: The selected artist will lodge in the house of a local family.
Covered complete pension: Breakfast in the lodging, food and in center has supper Cultural along with the rest of the participant artists, members of the center and organizers of the scholarship.
Covered expenses of trip: The flight to choose will remember with the organization.
The amount will collect the Domingo day 15 of Julio before going to the airport.
Covered basic materials: All the necessary materials in the project, as well as the materials must be indicated that are essential and that already it is had.
The artist will donate three of made works. He will have to leave two of them in the Association in Trithis and giving to the third a Patricia Muñoz to his return.

The project must appear in two languages and be sent of the indicated form:
- in Castilian or Catalan (if this is the first or second language).

All the participants, by the mere fact to participate, accept the complete content of these Bases and thus resign to any type of claim. Any doubt on the interpretation of Bases will be solved unilaterally by the Patricia Muñoz and the organizers of Arteden 07.
